How to Apply for Minority Scholarship 2022



Minority scholarship is a Scholarship for all the students who belong to economically weaker sections of a minority community, encouraging their parents to send them to school and help them to complete their school education. The aim is to make them eligible for higher studies, which their parents cannot afford.

Who are eligible for Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

Candidates who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.

The annual income of their parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.

Who are eligible for Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

Candidates who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.

The annual income of their parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.

Conditions for the scholarship are

Scholarships will be available to the students of minority communities studying in Classes I to X.

Community certificate.

Income certificate.

Students should obtain 50% marks for renewal of this scholarship.

Only two students in a family are eligible for this scheme.

The student would be allotted only one scholarship, under government schemes.

The Aadhaar number of the student should be provided.

Fees and allowances will be credited to the student's bank account directly.

Students should be regular in attendance and should not violate, school discipline, terms, and conditions.

 Application Process for Fresh Students

First Log on to the official website http://www.scholarships.gov.in.
click the tab, central schemes - check scheme closing date, and guidelines.
 click new student, scroll down and tick the undertaking check boxes.

Fill out the registration form, and provide personal details, mobile number, and bank details. If an OTP is received, provide it , your registration is now completed. 

Now log in and complete the application process, print the application form, and provide it to the school authority for further reference.

 Application Process for Renewal

If the scholarship, is approved, it may be renewed during the next academic year of the course with the examination result of the student having 50% marks.

Documents required to submit are 

Candidates need the following documents to apply for the Minority scholarship.

Self-attested certificate of Previous class Mark Sheet and study certificate are required.

An income and Caste certificate is required

A community certificate is required.

Aadhar Card.

Student Photo and Institution verification form.

Fee receipt of the current course year.

All the documents should be submitted to the school authorities, after verification the scholarship amount will be directly credited to the bank account of the student.

First Log on to the official website http://www.scholarships.gov.in.
click on the status on the homepage enter the registration number and date of birth and submit it.

Minority scholarship  last date

Fill out the application form \ and submit it along with the documents required in time before the last date of submission, Last date of submission can be checked on the official website. Under central schemes -closing date.
